The Red Horse Gallery was named after a native fish, the River Redhorse. It first opened its doors in June 2002, in a different space than today as a place to show art by the artists graduating from Cochrane Fountain City High School. Four seniors experienced the first public display of their work in this one-off exhibition. The Red Horse Gallery closed its doors at the end of June.
Fast forward to 2011 when the current gallery space became available and the decision was made to reopen The Red Horse Gallery. To explore our history of exhibitions and see some of the art exhibited here click on the link to “past shows” at the upper left of this page.
