Ron Kaser grew up in northwestern Indiana and learned to love wood and cars at an early age. He started turning wooden bowls in the late ‘90’s on his first lathe, a ShopSmith Mark V. Recently retired, Ron now has lots of time to refine his turning technique on his Jet 1642-EVS lathe. In addition to bowls, Ron enjoys making bread knives. When not turning wood, Ron can be found making caramel, kayaking, playing with grandchildren….and oh yeah, fixing cars. He is a member of the Coulee Region Woodturners of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
